About Me

In short, I am a geek who works on computational astrophysics.

If you want a bit more...  my name is Chi-kwan (CK) Chan.  I am currently an Institute for Theory and Computation Postdoc Fellow in the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics.  On the astrophysics side, I write codes to study accretion disks and all those black hole related stuffs.  However, I go too deep into technology and have a few crazy projects including 3D stereo scientific visualization, realtime interactive fluid simulations, and, although not very techie, carrying a Galileoscope across America by bike!
